There is a lot of fizz in that bang!

I tried the Lush Fizzbanger this weekend and have to say I'm not sure I've laughed that much in the bath before - certainly not without reading a Lindsey Kelk novel. The Fizzbanger is a lot of fun.

I'm a lover of bubbles in my bath so a visit to lush for me usually involves a focused stride towards  the bubble bars. However I wasn't purchasing for myself on this occasion and knew the person I was buying for would prefer a bath bomb (no bubbles just a bounty of beautiful fragrance) so I headed over to peruse the options. While using my nose as a guide I managed to pick out something that I knew my friend would love, then suddenly I picked up a scent that I could not ignore! I'm a lover of cinnamon and this particular scent was sweet and fruity with a distinct spicy undertone - I'd found the Fizzbanger. Deciding that I deserved a treat also I grabbed the yellow ball of fruity goodness and headed to the tills.

A few days later I found myself filling a big hot bath and fondling my bath bomb. With a bath bomb you need to fill the bath entirely and then drop the ball into the water where it will fizz around a dissolve, releasing its beautiful fragrance. Dropping the bomb into my bath I watched eagerly as it started to fizz and dissolve. Suddenly my nose was filled with the warming fragrance of cinnamon and crisp apples - the bathroom smelt like a strudel, mmmmm. As I got in the bath myself something caught my ears... A crackling sound, popping candy. I instantly felt like a little kid concentrating hard with my ears fixed on the popping sounds, I couldn't help but giggle. It truly was exciting - this combined with the beautiful bright blue centre of the Fizzbanger was wonderful, the blue centre and yellow outer making my bath a brilliant apple green colour.

My skin felt soothed and silky from the various oils within the Fizzbanger, and I felt very relaxed - the warming cinnamon scents calmed my mind and was perfect pre bed bathing. Just as I relaxed back into the bath I noticed something on the bottom of the tub, curious I picked it out and couldn't stop laughing as I held a little sticker in my hand that said 'bang' - well it was a bomb I had dropped in my bath, and I'm sure I'll be buying that one again sometime soon.
